SNAC

Student-Led Nutrition Advisory Council

The Coalition for Healthy Food in Newark Schools believes student well-being starts with a seat at the table. That’s why we launched SNAC — a space where students have a real say in what they eat, how food is served, and how schools promote health.

Student Voice. Real Impact. CHFiNS

Healthy Schools, Powered by Students

SNAC is a student-powered initiative that equips youth to lead school food advocacy. Through hands-on involvement, students work to strengthen healthy school meal programs, promote nutrition and wellness, and help shape a food system that reflects their voices and cultures.

Whether you’re a student, teacher, or partner, SNAC gives everyone a role in creating better food in schools.
